Book Review:

Crown of Wings and Thorns tells a super exciting story about angels, demons, and vampires fighting to be top dog and change history. King Asmodeus taking over the mortal world leads to a huge fight between the angel warriors and betrayal. Evangeline, one of the angel warriors, teams up with King Victus, a vampire known for killing angels, in a tricky alliance.

In this story, the characters really make it come alive. Evangeline proves herself to be a strong fighter, growing and bouncing back from tough situations. Michael, who’s part angel, struggles with who he is and what he’s meant to do, torn between being powerful and finding peace. And King Victus, a demon with many sides, keeps us interested by being both ruthless and fair.

Mary Ting’s writing is so captivating – it’s got a mix of action-packed scenes, vivid descriptions, and fantastical elements that really jump off the page. Plus, it dives deep into big themes like power, loyalty, and the blurred lines between good and evil. And the fact that it keeps you hooked emotionally and mentally just shows what a great storyteller Ting is.

The book talks about who’s in charge, how much wars can suck, and what’s right and wrong. Ting uses cool writing tricks like switching perspectives and hints about what’s gonna happen to make the story more interesting. The ideas of working together and giving up stuff for the greater good stick with you long after you finish reading.

The pacing keeps you on your toes and makes the story go by quickly, while the different viewpoints let you really get to know the characters and their world. It’s easy to read and the story flows smoothly, even with all its deep themes and diverse characters.

Crown of Wings and Thorns is a really good fantasy romance book. It’s got a cool plot, interesting characters, and dives into some deep themes. Some people might not totally connect with all the characters, but overall, the book kicks butt. I’d suggest it to anyone who likes fantasy with a romantic touch and enjoys a story that pushes the boundaries between worlds and morals.

Basically, Mary Ting’s Crown of Wings and Thorns is a super interesting book that fans of fantasy and romance will love. It’s got everything – action, mystery, and great characters. You should definitely check it out!
